I’ve been cheated on in the past and I know how much it hurts; it makes you think you’re not worth it, you start to underestimate yourself and think no one will ever love you and stick with you; and because of that you shut yourself off. It’s really hard for me to trust guys now. Everytime I start dating a guy I have the feeling that eventually he’s gonna hurt me and I don’t live the relationship in a good way. I’m almost 25 and I still haven’t had a proper “boyfriend”, someone that really deserves that label. That’s why I don’t like cheating. Because it messes you up. It messed me up.

I’ve never cheated, so I don’t know how it feels like to be on the other side, but from what you say it’s pretty awful too. People make mistakes and I’m all for second chances and I really hope that you got your second chance and had the possibility to make things right :)
